Gloria J. (Bishop) High, 61 of Troy died on April 13, 2010 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene after a long battle with cancer.

She was born the daughter of Myron and Lorraine (Kimball) Bishop in Worcester, MA. on February 1, 1949.

Gloria owned and operated the Village Candy and Bake Shop in Troy. She had a wonderful talent for cooking, baking and cake decorating. She also had jewelry and much more.

While in her free time Gloria could be found spending time with her grandchildren. She was a lover of animals. Her life revolved around family and family events. She was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. High is survived by her husband; Richard High Sr. Of Troy, Her son Richard High Jr. of Troy. She is also survived by her two daughters; Lori Bishop of Manchester and Melissa Labarre of Troy. She will be missed by her 17 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A private service will be held for the family in the near future. In lieu of flowers at the request f the family donations should be made in memory of Gloria J. High to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
