Send Condolence

George A. SimpsonGeorge A. Simpson, lovingly known as Tony and King George, 40, of Marlborough, passed away peacefully while resting, with his cherished family by his side, on Monday, December 18, 2023.

He was born, son of the late Sylvia (Farquharson) and Barrington Simpson on November 21, 1983, in St. Andrew, Jamaica. He grew up there until he and his mother moved to the United States. On the gorgeous day of June 10, 2016, George exchanged vows with the love of his life, Adrienne F. Sheehan. They had a beautiful ceremony, surrounded by the love of their family and friends at Sunset Beach in Harrisville, NH. They have been happily married since. George brought so much love, happiness, and hope to Adrienne, their children, and all of his family and friends. His passing has created a space in all of our hearts that will always be home to George.

George enjoyed his time working as a paid intern for CVS Health in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He worked tirelessly with Vocational Rehab to receive training for opportunities like his internship. George was very proud to be able to work and contribute to the incredible life he had built with his Love.

While George loved his job, he had deeper passions to share with those around him. He was an incredible artist. He enjoyed drawing in his sketchbooks where he would draw pictures of the beauty and complexity that he saw in the world. George also loved listening to music and found deep meaning in it. His favorite activities included supporting his children in their baseball games, theater shows, and concerts; spending time at the beach and “The Cottage”; enjoying a campfire at Nonna & Papa’s house, and playing games and watching movies with his family. Anyone who knew George loved him and would have done anything for him; as he did everything he could to make his loved ones’ lives more joyous.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Adrienne Simpson, and their two children, Natalia C.M. Chiume and Noah D. Kinara, of Marlborough, and his Father-in-law, David Sheehan, of Harrisville. He is also survived by his four siblings; Damian Stone of Canada, Dahlia Haye of New York, Shelly-Ann Grey of Jamaica, and Kerry-Ann Thomas of Florida. He also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whom he loved dearly and worried about constantly. George is predeceased by his parents, Sylvia and Barrington Simpson, and his Mom-in-law and best buddy, Carrie F. Sheehan.

In keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
