Frederick “Fred or Joe” A. Clark

Frederick “Fred or Joe” A. Clark, 82, a life long resident of Ashuelot died on Monday, January 18, 2016. He passed unexpectedly and peacefully in the comfort of his home with family near.

He worked for ten years at the Paper Services Company in Ashuelot as a machine operator before retiring in 2006. Prior he had worked at the Ebers Paper Company.

He lived a very simple life. Nothing made Fred happier than being with family and enjoying the home that his brother and sister in-law invited him to live in with them. He liked tinkering with various machines small and large. He enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music, going bowling and selling Avon products for fun. Fred was a Cleveland Indians fan and was known to buy and sell cars. He remembered things about family that most people had forgot and was always willing to share them with others, especially the younger members of the family. Fred was always happy sitting at the table and eating his favorite meal of baked beans and hotdogs. Because Fred never married he spent a lot of time with his nieces going on various adventures giving them memories that they will always treasure.
