Eva M. (Madore) St. Pierre 90 of Keene died on Monday, February 24, 2014 She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family at hand after a period of failing health.
Eva was born the daughter of the late Edesse (Scalabrini) and Georges Madore on August 15, 1923 in Drummersville, Canada. She was educated in Canada and graduated from Drummersville High School class of 1941.
She worked at MPB in Keene for fifteen years as a hand polisher before retiring in 1989. Prior she had worked at Hinkels in Keene as a machine operator.
Eva was a woman of faith and member of St. Bernards Parish in Keene. She enjoyed going to bingo with her friends. Eva could be found quilting and knitting in her free time. She was also an avid shopper always looking for sales. To relax Eva would read magazines and did this all the way up until a few days before she passed.
Ms. St. Pierre is survived by her three children; Ghislaine Jessie D. Galano and her husband Peter of Mooresville, N.C. Richard D. St. Pierre and his wife Celia of Keene and Joanne St. Pierre and her fianc Eric Moore of Keene. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren in addition to cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Eva is pre deceased by her daughter, Francine Barber who passed in April of 2002.
A liturgy of the word will be given on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10 am. in the funeral chapel. Burial will be private. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
