Eugene Gene, Bupp S. Snow, 80, a lifelong resident of Winchester died on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends. He passed peacefully and unexpectedly after a brief period of declining health.

Gene was born the son of the late Stella Payeski and Stanley Snow on August 8, 2933 in Winchester. He was educated locally and attended Thayer High School.

On October 10, 1959 he exchanged vows with Betty J. Hodgman at the old St. Stanislaus Church in Winchester. They were married with family and friends in attendance. They have been married for fifty four years.

Gene was patriotic. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman First Class.

He was employed at Timken of Keene for twenty years as a machinist. He retired in 2009 to enjoy his family.

Gene enjoyed hunting in Maine and deep sea fishing. He also liked to go ice fishing and take trips to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox. Time was also spent cutting, splitting and stacking wood under Nans supervision. Mostly he loved his wife, kids, and grandkids.

Mr. Snow is survived by his wife Betty Snow of Winchester. He also leaves his children and their spouses; Kim B. Snow of Winchester, Wayne B. Snow and his wife Sherry of Richmond and Jean-Marie Snow and her husband Scott Bradley of Winchester. A sister, Constance Tatro and her husband Ronald of Winchester. Seven grandchildren; Alicia, Samantha, Tavish, Justin, Brianna, Eryn, and Lucas in addition to cousins, nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Gene is pre deceased by his siblings; Thomas Snow and Gerald Snow and grandson Joshua Bradley who passed in 2001.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 6pm. in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel with military honors. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
