Erin L. Gusan, 36, a life-long resident of Winchester and Ashuelot died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the comfort of her home with family near.

Erin was born the daughter of Rose M. (Bailey) and Michael J. Gusan on March 25, 1981 in Greenfield, MA. She was educated locally and graduated from Thayer High School in Winchester class of 1999.

She had been employed at Service Master in Chesterfield as an environmental technician since 2013 while giving her love and affection as a daycare provider to her great niece and nephew.

In 2011 she started dating Ernest M. Maldonado who she shared a home with. They have been partners for six years.

Erin enjoyed riding on motorcycles, working in her puzzle books, doing arts and crafts and tending to the family pets. She was always up for family events and would help anyone in need.

Miss. Gusan is survived by her parents; Rose M. Gusan of Winchester and her father, Michael J. Gusan of Tucson, AZ. Her companion and best friend, Ernest Maldonado. Her siblings; Brandon M. Gusan and his wife Erikka of Springfield, MA. and Shannon L. Gusan of Winchester. Her step-daughter, Mariah Maldonado. Her nieces and nephews; Kaylyn Roy of Hinsdale, Alicia Gusan of Burlington, VT. Maryssa Gusan of Burlington, VT. Bayleigh Roy of Winchester, Brandon Gusan Jr. of Springfield, MA. Leilani Gusan of Springfield, MA. Great nieces and nephew; Karson Giffin, Carleigh Snyder, and Marlie Snyder of Hinsdale. In addition, she leaves extended family and numerous friends. Erin was pre-deceased by her step father Patrick Sullivan.

Calling hours will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5 to 8pm. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11am all in the funeral chapel. Following the services there will be a gathering at the VFW in Winchester. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made to: Monadnock Humane Society, 101 Old Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446 in her name. All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel and Crematories, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03446.
