Elaine I. (Glidden) Gove, 83, of Keene and formerly of Estero, FL. passed away peacefully while resting on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
She was born on June 4, 1940, to the late Lois (Morgan) and Chester E. Glidden in Wolfeboro, NH. Elaine graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, NH.
On November 14, 1959, Elaine exchanged vows with the love of her life, Stanley G. Gove Sr. They had a simple service with family and friends at the Advent Church in Farmington. They were happily married for 59 years until Stanley passed away on March 1, 2018
Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, working in her flower gardens and her dog Alia.
Mrs. Gove is survived by her three children, Stanley G. Gove Jr. and wife, Lisa of East Hampstead, Colleen A. Hopkinson and husband, Ron of Keene, Julie Hensley and husband, Bob of Keene. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Wiggins of Middleton, her three grandchildren, Bobby Hensley and wife, Maria of Keene, Catie Steiner and husband, Jason of Keene, and Dan Gove of Raymond, four great-grandchildren, Stanley 
Hensley, Lucia Hensley, Jack Steiner, and Scarlett Steiner. Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, husband, two siblings, Stanley Glidden and Patty Glidden, and granddaughter, Kelsey Hopkinson who passed away on April 30, 2011.
