He was born a son to Brown Forbes and the late Mildred M. (Blanchard) Forbes on September 23, 1959, in Spruce Pine, NC. He was educated locally at Monadnock Regional High School class of 1979.
Ed enjoyed his time working for Fenton Family Dealership, Toyota, and Volvo, as their parts delivery man. Prior, Ed worked for Sanell’s Auto Parts as a delivery man for many years. He also worked for the Dublin school system as their environmental service and grounds maintenance for 10-plus years.
Along with working, Ed loved watching NASCAR, and car racing.
Mr. Forbes is survived by his father, Brown Forbes of West Swanzey, his two siblings, Raymond R. Forbes Sr. of Swanzey, and Debra J. Hall of Swanzey, a close family friend, Herman Hastings of Hinsdale and his son Matt Hastings of Swanzey. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Amanda Gray and her husband, Donald of North Carolina, Erika Irby and her husband, Brian of North Carolina, and their two children, Ryan Snow and Ava Irby, Raymond Forbs Jr. and wife, Samantha of Alstead, and their three children, Devan, Jacob, and Savannah, Alaina Seavey and her husband Jason of Swansey, and their two children, Mason Fields and Adam Seavey. Along with many cousins, extended family, and friends. Ed was predeceased by his mother, Mildred Forbes who passed on December 28, 2012.
