Dorothy Etta (Fuller) Bragg 85, a long time resident of Keene and currently of Swanzey died on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene. She passed peacefully with family by her side after a period of declining health.
Dorothy was born the daughter of the late Ruth (Rugg) and Arthur Fuller on October 18, 1928 in Keene. She was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1947.
She was previously married to Harold Bragg.
Dorothy held many jobs and positions over her life time. She worked at Smith Industries in Keene as an assembler for nine years before retiring in 1999 to spend her golden years with family and friends.
She was a proud mother, grandmother and eventually great grandmother. It was important for her to be active in the children of her life. She enjoyed going to all the kids games and sporting events. She was active with them in school activities and dance recitals.
Mrs. Bragg is survived by her four children and their spouses; Laurie E. Buckley and her husband Phillip of Port Orange, Florida. Holly J. Chamberlin and her husband David of West Swanzey, Mark A. Bragg and his wife Linda of Marlow and Jody L. Elsesser and her husband Glenn of Alstead. She is also survived by three siblings; Faith Cody and her husband Paul of Danville, VA. Alice Brocus and her husband Jamie of Beach Island, S.C. and Donald Fuller and his wife Beverly of Swanzey. Eight grandchildren; Ryan Bragg, David Chamberlin Jr. Stephanie Singer, Lena Chamberlin, Benjamin Bragg, Nicolle Bragg, Andrea Elsesser and Taylor Elsesser, in addition, 20 Great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Dorothy is pre deceased by her sister Elaine Wilk who passed earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 10 to 11am. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 all in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the family lot at Mountain View Cemetery, Rt. 32 South, Swanzey, NH. 03446 . Flowers will gladly be accepted.
