Donald “Don” A. Pariseault, 81, a longtime resident of Easthampton and formerly of Holyoke died on October 13, 2022, at Westfield Gardens Nursing Home in Westfield, MA. He passed peacefully while sleeping after a period of declining health.

Donald was born the son of the late Beatrice (Hamelin) and Raymond Pariseault on October 27, 1940, in Holyoke. He was educated in Holyoke and Miami, FL. where he attended both Holyoke and Miami High School.

On July 27, 1964, he exchanged vows with Gratia D. Watkevich at Notre Dame Church in Holyoke. They were married with family and friends in attendance. Sadly, Gratia passed on July 23, 2018, after fifty-four years of marriage.

Don was employed at National Felt / National Non Wovens Co. in Easthampton Donald Pariseaultas a Machine Mechanic for thirty years until his retirement in 1994.

He enjoyed his time as a member of the Easthampton Rod and Gun Club and also was a member of the Desparado Snowmobile Club. Don’s love was for fishing. He was the guy who would bring home his limit while others he was with would catch little to nothing. Don had that touch when it came to fishing. He always had a freezer full of fish which he was happy to share with family and friends.

Mr. Pariseault is survived by his three children: Darren Pariseault and his wife, Terri of Salem, NH. Angela Pariseault of Brandon, FL. and Cynthia Dias of Chicopee, MA. His siblings: Barbara Arrighi and her husband Dave of Westfield, MA. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Antonia Barnack, and her husband, Richard of Holyoke, MA.

In addition, Don is survived by eight grandchildren; Ryan Pariseault and his wife Brittany of Manchester, NH, Nick Pariseault of Londonderry NH, Tim Pariseault and his wife Naomi of Cumberland, R.I. Alexis Pariseault, Anthony Casiano, Devon and Brandon Dias all of Easthampton and Adam Estrada of Brandon, FL. In addition, he leaves, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, there are no calling hours or religious services. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of Donald Pariseault to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
