Corrinne A. (Wheeler) Marden 92 of Keene died peacefully with the love and compassion of family at her side. She died after a period of failing health at Keene Center Genesis in Keene on March 28, 2011.

Corrinne was born the daughter of Harold and Alice Wheeler on October 23, 1918 in Gardner, Mass. She was educated locally and graduated from Gardner High School class on 1936. She has been a resident of Keene for over seventy years.

Ms. Marden worked for over 20 years at the Princess Stitching and Shoe Company as a seamstress.

She was a very private individual keeping to herself and living a quiet life. Corrinne loved her cats and was an avid reader.

Ms. Marden is survived by her three grand children; Debbie Gibson and her husband Joseph of Troy, Gary Thompson and his wife Patricia of Gill, MA. and James Thompson and his wife Jennifer of Westport. Her 11 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren will miss her presence. She is pre-deceased by her only daughter and son in-law Corrinne L. Thompson and her husband Franklin.

A grave side service with Christian Burial Rights will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Ave., Keene, at 10am. There are no calling hours. Donations maybe made in memory of Corrinne A. Marden to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, NH. 03446.
