Clarissa May Abbott, 19, of Keene and formerly of Winchester died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She passed peacefully after a brief period of declining health with her family at her side.

Clarissa was born the daughter of Cindy J. (Spiers) Kelley and Richard A. Abbott Jr. on June 5, 1995 in Lebanon. She was educated locally and was currently attending Keene High School.
Clarissa had a simple yet joyful life. She lived a active life. She always looked forward to going to school and was always on top of if it was day one or day two, due to the rotating schedule. Clarissa could be found on her computer cruising the internet. She liked to cook, play I pad games, socializing, watching tv & video’s. She loved Dora the Explorer. She had Dora dolls of all kinds even a Dora nurse. She had Dora music, Dora video’s, Dora blankets, Dora movie’s she had Dora everything. Clarissa loved all kinds of music, dancing and going to dances at the rec center. She enjoyed going to Life arts where she did yoga, karaoke, board games, and sometimes painted her nails. She enjoyed playing the card game uno and many board games like jeopardy and wheel of fortune. She enjoyed playing ball, air hockey and basketball with her cousins. Everybody got a hug from Clarissa. Clarissa enjoyed riding the friendly bus to go shopping and bowling. Clarissa had a blast on her day trip to Hampton Beach with her friend Bethany and on her many adventures bowling with Bethany as well. She also went on many trips with her family and friends. She went to Boston to visit the aquarium. She made annual trips to Yankee Candle. Clarissa was a character she loved joking around and making people laugh and smile. Clarissa was a very special earth angel. She went on a wonderful vacation to Hampton Beach staying ocean front with her mom and her brother. She enjoyed being taken care of by her Aunt Valerie. She also loved to go swimming on her vacations. Clarissa also enjoyed her most recent vacation to Wells Beach, Maine. She visited the Nubble light house. She went to Kennabunkport and saw the Bush home from a distance. She watched the sun rise. Clarissa was and is a beautiful gentle happy butterfly. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. She was blessed with many wonderful very special caregivers.

Miss. Abbott is survived by her parents Richard A. Abbott Jr. and Cindy J. Kelley of Winchester. Her grandmother, Shiela S. Peck of Keene. She will be missed by her aunts and uncles; Derek Abbott, Debbie Pariso, Marianne King, Darlene Knightengale, Valerie Harrington, Doris Auger and Richard Auger Jr. In addition she leaves cousins, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents; Richard and Faith Auger, Milo Peck and Richards A. Abbott Sr. Elaine Driscoll and Carl Crossman Jr. Uncle, David Peck. Her brother, Richard A. Abbott the III passed on February 7, 2013.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2pm. in the funeral chapel. Burial will be private. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
