Charlotte (Chucky) M. Pike, 80, a lifelong resident of Gilsum died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in Winchester. She passed peacefully after a period of declining health with the love of her family at her side.

Charlotte was born the daughter of the late Adaline (Whipple) and Karl Pike on August 24, 1935 in Gilsum. She was educated in the Gilsum School.

She worked as a Private Practical Nurse for forty years in Cheshire County. Earlier she was employed at Holbrook Homes in Gilsum as a PN.

Her hobbies included feeding the birds, playing cards with family, listening to country music, watching cooking shows, cooking, spending time with her dogs Blaze, Bella and Penny and most recently, her treasured vacation to Pittsburg, NH. with family.

Ms. Pike is survived by her two children; Jane A. Derosier and her husband Larry of Troy and Daniel M. Pike of Gilsum and his fiancée Shelly Patenaude of Winchester. Her sister, Sylvia Burroughs of Swanzey. Five grandchildren; Rachel D. Malynowski and her husband Marc of Troy, Joshua D. Derosier and his wife Angela of Columbia, S.C. Jamie L. Patenaude and her significant other Scott Pratt of Winchester, Michael F. Patenaude of Winchester and Matthew D. Patenaude of Jacksonville, FL. In addition, she leaves one great-grandchild, Tyler A. Malynowski of Troy, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters Beryl and Barbara.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 10 to 11am. with a service to follow at 11am. Burial will be held privately in the family lot at the Warwick Cemetery in Warwick, MA. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Charlotte M. Pike to: Hospice and Community Services, 101 Marlboro St. Keene, NH. 03431.
