Carolyn G. (Gray) Davis 78, of Keene and formerly of Dublin died unexpectedly on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene.
She was born the daughter of the late Mary (Medeck) and Warren Gray on March 8, 1936 in Ironton, Ohio. She was educated in Cincinnati and graduated from Walnut Hills High School class of 1954.
Carolyn enjoyed bird watching, refinishing antique furniture, reading and needlepoint. She was involved in community service volunteering at the information desk at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcok Medical Center these past ten years.
Ms. Davis is survived by her life partner of 35 years James G. Johnston of Keene. Her two sons and their wives; Jeffry W. Luebkeman and his wife Karen of Marlborough, and Gary M. Luebkeman and his wife Leslie of Westmoreland. She also leaves several grandchildren in addition to cousins, a niece and nephew as well as extended family and friends. Carolyn is predeceased by her sister Virginia Switzer who passed in 2012.
In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes there are no calling hours however a memorial service is planned at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Wednesday, December 17th. The time of the service is not known as this goes to print. Burial will take place in the family
