Carol Ann (Storm) Lepisto 72 of Englewood Florida died peacefully on December 3, 2010 at Keene Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a period of failing health.

She was born the daughter of Gladdys (Stuebchen) and Russell Storm on April 24, 1938 in Buffalo, N.Y. As a child she moved to the Keene area and was educated locally. She graduated from Keene High School class of 1955.

On August 8, 1955 Miss. Storm took her vows to Mr. George V. Lepisto at St. Bernard’s Parish in Keene with friends and family in attendance. They have been happily married for 55 years.

Mrs. Lepisto was gainfully employed as a teachers aid for the town of Fitzwilliam before retiring in 1998 after thirty two years of loyal service. She had also been employed at Troy Mills in Troy as a receptionist and the Central Screw in Keene for a time.

The Lepisto’s moved from their home of 40 years in Troy to Englewood Florida in 1998 where they have resided for the past 12 years enjoying the leisurely life of retirement.

Carol was a devout catholic and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Troy for many years. She loved her little church and was one of the unsung heroes. Carol was a member of the cleaning team and contributed as a Eucharistic Minister. She also gave freely of her time for community meals at the church. Her faith was important to her.

Mrs. Lepisto had many interests. She liked to walk on the beach. She had many flower gardens over the years and grew fruit trees in Florida. She was family oriented and would always have gatherings at the holidays for family and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband; George V. Lepisto of Englewood, FL. She is also survived by her three children; Eric G. Lepisto of Keene, Jeffrey D. Lepisto and his significant other Coriene (Corey) Hayes of Swanzey and Heidi A. Lepisto and her husband Wayne Seney of Port Charlotte, FL. She also leaves her father Russell Storm of Cocoa Beach, Florida. Her sister Judith Bossi of Buffalo, N.Y. Granma will be missed by her two grandchildren; Emma M. Lepisto and Alec R. Lepisto. Mrs. Lepisto is pre-deceased by her mother Gladdys Storm who passed in 1974.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2010 at 10am. in Immaculate Conception Church, School St. Troy, NH. burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers monitory donations should be made in memory of Carol A. Lepisto to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK. 73123-1718.
