Brian M. Dillon
Brian M. Dillon, 49, of Swanzey and formerly of Hinsdale, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home in Swanzey. He passed peacefully after a brief period of declining health with his family near.
Brian was born the son of Veronica M. (Vanier) and Brian M. Dillon on January 22, 1968 in Cohoes, New York. He was educated in Keene and graduated from the Conval School in Keene class of 1989.
He was a member of St. Josephs Church, Mary Queen of Peace in Hinsdale for many years. Brian loved horseback riding and was awarded several ribbons. He could frequently be seen enjoying local fairs, and enjoyed going to the circus. Brian was a traveler. He loved going to Disney World in Florida, had the opportunity to swim with dolphins, and liked exploring the Ice Caverns here in New Hampshire.
Mr. Dillon is survived by his mother, Veronica M. Phillips and her husband David of Hinsdale; his father, Brian M. Dillon and his wife Darrell of Poestenkill, NY and his sisters: Sheila Hagstrom and her husband Nathan of Center Valley, PA; Amy Dillon of Spofford; Julia Morrison and her husband Matthew of Lemoyne, PA; Shannon Wood and her husband Luke of Saratoga Springs, NY; and Brianna Williams and her husband Damian of Porter Corners, NY. He also leaves his nieces and nephew: Kelsea, Sara, Mairi, Garrett and Ava. In addition, he leaves aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Brains wishes the are no calling hours. A mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Josephs, Mary Queen of Peace Church, 35 Brattleboro Rd, Hinsdale, NH. 03451. Burial will take place later in the family lot at St. Agnes Cemetery in Cohoes, NY.
