Brian K. Baker Jr. 34, of Winchester, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He passed peacefully after a brief illness with the love of family near.
Brian was born the son of Rainna L. (Snow) and Brian K. Baker Sr. on August 3, 1983 in Keene. He was educated locally and graduated from Thayer High School class of 2001.
On September 15, 2013 he exchanged vows with Mandi M. (Gallagher) Baker. They were married in a simple service with close family and friends in attendance at the Stone Arch Bridge in Keene. They have been married for almost five years.
Brian was a hard worker and was recently employed at Ames Custom Carpentry in Putney, 
VT as a carpenter. He was also working for Bazin Trucking and Construction in Westminster, VT for many years as a laborer.
He had many interests in life. Brian was an avid golfer and sports fanatic. He and his friends would place small wagers on sporting events or if someone was going to sink a putt, score a point or make a goal. It was all done in fun. He loved all the New England sports teams except the Patriots. It was well known that Brian was a diehard Miami Dolphins fan for years. He loved to work with his hands, tinkering and building was fun for him. He was a kind person who would give freely of his time and skills to help family and friends. Brian was an all around sweet person with a heart of gold.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Mandi M. Baker of Winchester. His children; Elisa L. Downing and her husband Skylar of Harrisville and Hayley N. Frazier of Winchester. His grandchildren; Aubrie Downing, Bryce Downing and Saige Downing of Harrisville. His father and mother, Brian K. and Rainna L. Baker Sr. of Winchester. His sister, Jennifer Baker of Dover. Grandparents; (Nena) Elizabeth “Bunny” Baker of Winchester and (Nena) Christina Cody – Dubriske of Ashuelot. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He’s predeceased by his (Bampa) Kendall O Baker and Aunt Lauri (Baker) Coleman.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5 to 8pm. in the funeral chapel. A gathering to celebrate the life of Brian K. Baker Jr will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 starting at 1 PM in the hall at the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 3968. 35 Main St. Winchester, NH 03470. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
