Branden M. “Big Foot” Tkaczyk, 27, a life-long resident of Winchester died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Hinsdale.

Brandon was born the son of Tracy L. “Clark-Harvey” Pelkey in Keene on June 30, 1989. He attended schools in Winchester and graduated from Keene High School class of 2008.

He was employed at Allard Lumber Company in Brattleboro, Vt.. Prior, he had worked for Patrick Hildreth and Son for many years logging and delivering cordwood to many local families.

Branden was very active in 4-H when he was young. In his first year of showing at the Hopkinton State Fair, he took Grand Champion with his Brown Swiss Cow “Annie”. He also had a pair of oxen, “Bud-N-Buck” that he showed at the Cheshire Fair. He entered the calf scramble at the Cheshire Fair and caught the beef cow that he named “Timber Jack”. Branden played baseball at the ELMM Community Center. He was also chosen to play in the All-Star League. Branden celebrated his 17th birthday while on a fishing trip in Alaska. His other interests include; riding his dirt bike, 4-wheeling and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Branden was an outdoors, down to earth young man where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood burning.

Branden will leave a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Tkaczyk is survived by his parents, Tracy and Tim Pelkey of Winchester. His sister, Allison Pelkey of Winchester. Brother, Kyle Rabideau of Hinsdale. Grandparents; Ken and Claudia Harvey and Frank and Jean Pelkey of Winchester. His uncle, Kevin L. Harvey of Winchester. His aunt and uncle, Terri and Peter Wyman of Warner and aunt Andii Turner of California. He also leaves his girlfriend, Krystle Clark of Hinsdale. Krystle’s son, Kaleb Marsh who Branden loved and adored dearly. Cousins; Kevin A. Harvey, Taylor Abbott and Amber Dubois. In addition he leaves extended family and numerous friends. Brandon is pre-deceased by his cousin Michael F. Wyman.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10 to 12 with a service to follow at 12 noon. in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. Burial will follow in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond Rd. Winchester, NH. 03470. Donations can be made in memory of Branden M.
