Bernard Bernie W. Webber 73, a life long resident of Marlborough died on Thursday, December 11, 2014. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his home with his family near.

Bernard was born the son of the late Grace M. (Porter) and Carl G. Webber on November 11, 1941 in Marlborough. He was educated locally and graduated from Marlborough High School class of 1959.

On October 14, 1961 he exchanged vows with Laura M. Murphy. They were joined in matrimony at the Federated Church in Marlborough with family and friends in attendance. The Webbers have been married for fifty three years.

Bernie was the owner and operator of the Minnie Wawa Valley Landscape Company in Marlborough. He owned and operated the business for over twenty years until his retirement in 2006.

Bernie was a member of the Federated Church in Marlborough for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping game. In the winter months he could be found selling Christmas trees. Spring was the time to get the sugar house running and producing maple syrup. Bernie was a member of the NH. Maple Producers Association and the NH. Trappers Association.

Mr. Webber is survived by his wife, Laura M. Murphy of Marlborough. A son, David W. Webber and his wife Tricia of Troy. Siblings; Carl P. Webber and his wife Carol of Dublin and Eleanor L. Ellis and her husband Bernard of Swanzey. He leaves five grandchildren; Kayla Webber, Jami Leigh Ashcraft, Korie Webber, Kiera Webber and Kristopher Webber. Two great grandchildren Allilyanna Aschcraft and Averill Ashcraft in addition to cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bernie is pre deceased by his daughter, Christine M. Webber who passed in 2011.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11am. in the funeral home. In keeping with Bernies wishes there are no calling hours and burial will be private. Flowers will gladly be accepted. However the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Bernard W.
