Ann M. (Malpus) Cloutier, 67, a long-time resident of Fitzwilliam and formerly of Marlborough, Massachusetts died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home with the love of family near.

Ann was born the daughter of the late Irma (Dixon) and Charles Malpus on March 21, 1952, in Framingham, MA. She was educated in Framingham and Marlborough where she attended local schools.

In August of 1997, she met the love of her life, Jeffrey S. Patch. They loved life together and became engaged. It was her wish to have a family wedding.

She was employed at Franklin Pierce College as a chef for eight years before retiring in 2004. Prior, she had worked at Digital Corporation in the cafeteria in a similar role for many years. Ann also spent many years at L.B. Darlings Company in Southborough, MA.

Ann was a big NASCAR fan. She liked watching softball games, going camping and family time. Ann was always up fro a day at the beach where she would bask in the sun. She was also involved in her community as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 11 in Jaffrey for many years.

One of Ann’s favorite things to do was to drive down to Marlborough and spend weekends staying with her sister Carol and visiting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family is what motivated her and there was nothing better than seeing Nana (Ma) as we kids called her.

Ms. Cloutier is survived by her fiancée, Jeffrey S. Patch of Fitzwilliam. Her children; Jennifer D. DiBuono and her husband, Salvatore of Marlborough, MA. and Nathan L. Malpus of Marlborough, MA. and his fiancé, Cindy Lupien of Sudbury, MA. Her siblings; Carol A. Kelber and her husband, David of Marlborough, MA. Timothy Burnham and his wife, Janice of Stimson, N.C. and Stanley Burnham of Yarmouth, MA. Her grandchildren; Jacob DiBuono his wife Mackenzie and Angelina DiBuono. Two great-grandchildren; Colton DiBuono and Ryder DiBuono. In addition, she leaves; cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ann is predeceased by her siblings; William Burnham and Michael Burnham and her ex-husband Rodney Cloutier.

There are no services planned at this time. A gathering to celebrate the life of Ann M. Cloutier will be held on January 19, 2019 from 2 to 6pm. in the Marlborough Moose Family Center, 67 Fitchburg St. Marlborough, MA. 01752. A gathering will also occur in the Fitzwilliam area sometime in the spring.
