Sheila A. (Trask) Saulnier, 69, of Winchester and formerly of Swanzey died on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene. She passed peacefully after a brief period of declining health.
Sheila was born the daughter of Grace (Desrosiers) and George F. Trask Sr. on October 27, 1947 in Keene. She was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School, class of 1965.
She worked as a sales associate for Bradlees Department Store in Keene for twenty years. She enjoyed working in the various departments in the store. Prior she had worked at NGM Insurance in Keene.
Sheila was previously married to, Ronald E. May who she remains friends with and John T. Saulnier who passed in 2006.
Sheila was a woman of faith and member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swanzey. She enjoyed crafts and had a large collection of various pig collectiables Her devotion in life was to her grandchildren who she adored with all her heart. Sheila was a giving person. She helped served in the nursery at the church as well as made home-made cards to send words of encouragement to the missionaries.
Ms. Saulnier is survived by her four sons; Christopher R. May and his wife Stephanie of Abilene, TX, Eric A. May and his wife Cally of North Swanzey, John T. Saulnier II of Swanzey and Travis I. Saulnier and his wife Robyn of Winchester. Her mother, Grace Broesder of Winchester. Her uncle, Royal Desrosiers and his wife Carrie of Keene. Her grandchildren; Andrew, Nicholas, Abigail, Audrey, Adaline, Domanik and Drake. In addition, she leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sheila is pre-deceased by her father, George F. Trask Sr. who passed in 1975. Her brother, George F. Trask Jr. who passed in 1987 and her aunts and uncles; Valerie French, Ernest Desrosiers, Roland Desrosiers, Christine Twombley all passed earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10 to 11:30am. with a celebration of life service to follow in the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 125 Goodell Ave. Swanzey, NH. 03446. Burial will occur after the service in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Pine St. Swanzey, NH. 03446. Flowers will gladly be accepted.
